no more vacay – now i’m sad!

As you can see I’ve not been blogging in a very long time, and as I asume, you guys have missed me a lot. Am I right or am I right?

I have had an amazing vacation with my boyfriend in Copenhagen, not caring about Facebook, blogging, chatting or other cyber city treasures. Just enjoying the pretty things life has to offer. How poetic, huh? But oh so true! And I loooove Copenhagen, although it’s hard to love a city with a lot of snow, which have been ruining my life for 3 months now, and a temperature below zero.

In Copenhagen we also did find an awesome restaurant called Luna’s Diner. Luna is placed in the heart of Christianshavn, having the greatest concept ever: an american diner vibe with big milkshakes like we see in Pulp Fiction and lovely food, not to forget, our cool waiter Cathy, who had so much energy. And her accent? so perfect for the concept!! Danish talking waiter with an american accent. I felt like I was entering a real american diner from the 50′s.

I wish we had a better camera with us to show you what a neat place Lunas was, but luckily I had my iPhone!

me sipping on my Power Berry smoothie. So delicious. I felt like a better human being drinking this after a wild trip out and about. The lovely Vanilla Milkshake on my left!

Troels was very satisfied with his Vanilla milkshake with blended After Eight chocolate.

happy and eating. But don’t you worry, I’m not a russian agent!

top 5: youtube

I’m sorry for my lack of top 5′s the past Sundays, but I’ve reached a decision: I’m not good at keeping my promises! So therefor you get a top 5 every month instead of every sunday.

This time it’s about YouTube, and all the precious things you can find in there. From dancing monkeys singing a freaky birthday song with a dash of silly emotional R’n'B to intimate concerts held by random folks. On YouTube you can find anything!

1. Makeup. I love it. Face it, it’s one of the greatest things on earth, and there is something really relaxing with putting on makeup. And seeing this video makes me wanna buy all the expensive makeup kits the lady is playing with. Lucky bastard! I’m looking forward for my Twiggy transformation

2. TED Channel.  On TED you can see smart people talk about everything from love to why we like big boobs and think babies are cute. You can even get the TED app for free for your iPhone. Highly recommended.

3. Finding (underground) music! And I got a little something for you: Death to Frank Ziyanak.

4. Hearing Tom Waits reading Charles Bukowski

5. Seeing the cutest baby ever! I would be a very proud parent if my baby was laughing its brains out over ripped paper. You gotta love that. If not, there is something wrong with you!

to cut or not to cut?

I really love my haircut, which I’ve had in 5 years by now. My goal was to get long, mermaid-like hair with my bangs, but it takes ages! Do you guys know some pill or potion, which can make my hair grow about 30 cm?

In the meantime I’ve always wanted Mia’s hair from Pulp Fiction, just a bit longer like this little lady.

So what do you think? Will this hairdo fit my face?

The Swansea Love Story

If there is one thing I absolutely love about my TV, its finding documentaries about life, love, drugs, young party freaks and early pregnancy. I just love learning about people behind the telly, and getting to know them. It’s the best TV has to offer us these day, I think.

However, some TV-stations tries constantly to find “entertainment” factors in these documentaries instead of giving us viewers an honest perspective into these lives. I miss honesty in todays television!! Therefor VBS.tv has something great coming up.

The Swansea Love Story is about the largely unreported heroin epidemic in South Wales. You hear about the lives of a gang of young addicts, their families and their surroundings, and shows us how unemployment, the breakdown of family and love contribute to the dilemmas faced by a group of young people. You can see the trailer here:

I can’t wait till it comes out!!!

otitis – actually sounds like something you can eat?

I got otitis at the moment. It is not as dramatic as it sounds, but it sure hurts like a bitch! And you also get a fever from it. So hopefully I’ll be back tomorrow with Top 5 and be in better mood than now. God this sucks!
