octopus is the new black

There is nothing like reading Vice on a friday night, when you surprisingly got nothing to do. It’s 30 % my own fault and 70 % the universe’ fault – and yeah, I’m allowed to blame the universe once a while.

Back to Vice; While I was pushing myself with boredom, I turned to Vice for some pampering and I found something very sick and something very amusing. If I ever become a sick bastard, I would undoubtedly pep my many black cocktail dresses up with this octopus necklace from Dominic Jones.. how fucking cool and obscure is that? I would be the center of the party – and who does not love that (If your answer is no you are a big liar)?

…and what about something more fishy… like fish heads, Madame?

if you  are in lack of bone(r)s, then I’ve got the solution for you!

do you also own a precious iPhone?

I just got me one and I can definitely say that I’m addicted. If you see a little chinese looking Gollum, running around in her undies and calling her iPhone “my preeecious” then say hello – I love meeting new people.

But like any other newly made iPhone freak, you are probably protecting your iPhone in your hello kitty socks. Unfortunately you need that other pair of sock eventually and therefor it is a good idea to invest in an iPhone case. Number one safety for your phone, and it can even look pretty fancy!

On imakemycase you can create your OWN iPhone case. How cool is that? Now you yell:  fabulous, just fab, Yasmin!! I will design my case soon – I just need some money, even though it’s not that expensive. If you can afford an iPhone, you can also create your own case.

you love to build? you love horses? then I got something for you!

a 3D anatomy horse model puzzle! now you don’t need to ride horses, you can also build horses whenever you feel like it. this is a perfect gift for the crazyass horse freak or just a puzzle nerd like me.

Smothered in sugar and tea

I promised myself to stay away from my blog so I could focus on my project, but I’m in school and that always leads to a lot of world-wide searching and funny games.

I found another site about home, dining, furniture and etc., like this Blaue Blume teacup and Blaue Blume sugar bath, where you can get the colours of their shoes in red, black, gold and white from hiddenartshop.

And these salt-and-pepper-victorian-ladies-with-a-TV-head shakers. The story about the salt and pepper shakers is that a TV felt upon the ladies heads and now is a part of them. A bit sad actually.

Talk about being creative…

… this is probably the most creative thing I’ve seen in a loooong time. I wanna live outside a building, literally, too!Brazil Art

And talking about patience – what can you see on this picture? A girl, yes..  a building, yes.. but a car? – and now you get shocked and amazed – yes, there is a car. But the girl on the picture used a long time painting the background and ground on the car, so it will be invisible in the photo. Aaaah, yeah.

(I sure hope not!)

This is ideal if your addiction is food (like meself)

I sure hope this is true. If cigarets were replaced with food, I would be the happiest girl in the world.. and probably the fattest.. maybe it’s a good thing  that this doesn’t exist, but what an idea though!

Or is it cigarets with chicken noodle flavour? I’m confused now.

When I was a little babygirl

Me and my mother always saw TCM on the telly. We loved to watch old movies where the women were soooo sophisticated and beautiful and where the men were real men. And sometimes there was some movies about the Victorian way of living, with the bombastic dresses and heavy makeup – and since then a little Victorian seed grew in me (sounds a bit disgusting maybe? hmmm).

See, there is a meaning with this post. I’ve been randomly searching on the web mainly because I’m sick and can’t do anything constructive… but then I found this pretty thing from Fendi, and all of my childhood Victorian dreams came back…

I really want this corset! Yeah, it’s not that Victorian – it’s more modern. But look at it! The leather.. the form.. it’s really gorgeous. Maybe if I had 980 dollars I would buy it, but it will be the day that I can use 5000 dollars on booze like other rich teenagers. Maybe someday I can be just as crazy and irresponsible like them.
